The collection exhibitions are free to all visitors on the listed days, which in autumn 2026 are Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October, Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October (Life Laboratory special free days) and Culture Day, Tuesday 3 November. On the Life Laboratory days the special exhibition is free too, but not on Culture Day. The museum notes the dates can change.

Brick halls, stone libraries and bridges across the river in the middle of town
