The Osaka branch of the Japan Mint, whose grounds open to the public for a week each spring for the Cherry Blossom Passage. The Mint's cherry trees include 338 trees of 134 cultivars as of 2019.

Insider tip

Mint tours are free and can be booked up to two months ahead on the Mint's booking site. The grounds are in blossom around mid-April. It's about 15 minutes on foot from Sakuranomiya Station.

The mint opens a path of about 560 m along the old Yodo River for one week in early to mid April, when its late-blooming double cherries are out. 2026 ran 9 to 15 April and was run by advance reservation. The 2027 dates haven't been announced.
