The observatory on floors 58 to 60 of Abeno Harukas, a 300 m tower. The 60th floor is a glass corridor with views in all directions, and on clear days you can see from Kyoto to Awaji Island.
Insider tip
Same-day tickets are ¥2,200 for adults and ¥900 for children aged 6 to 14, sold at the 16th floor counter. Tickets are not refundable and you can't re-enter. On 17 October 2026 the tower runs a special fireworks-night operation.

Shinsekai dates to 1903 and centres on Tsutenkaku, which has timed entry. Covered Janjan Yokocho holds kushikatsu and doteyaki restaurants. Spa World is the place for a bath. In Tennoji, Shitenno-ji is free in its central area on the 21st and 22nd of each month, and Keitakuen Garden is closed on Mondays. The Harukas 300 Observatory has a glass corridor on the 60th floor.
