Anime and Games in Osaka
Otaku shopping, mostly along Sakaisuji
Only four places on the map carry this tag, and three of them are in or beside Nippombashi. Den Den Town and Ota Road is the otaku district along Sakaisuji, with anime and game shops and a run of maid cafes. Super Potato Otaroad sells used Famicom and PlayStation games on the first floor of the Heida Building. Mandarake Grand Chaos has six floors of vintage toys, comics and cards and is open every day of the year. Shinsaibashi PARCO, a 14-floor pop-culture building, is the one outside the district. It's open 10:00 to 20:00 for shops, but its closing days are irregular.
